they really do.
i have this cousin who's in secondary school. he's not the very outspoken, noisy type. he's actually pretty quiet. especially recently.
and though its freaky, but i think i know why.
he's got a gf.
no susbstantial proof YET. but he types these weird personal messages on his msn like "i miss you, i love", "when will u b back?", "thx for forgiving me" "i LOVE you" etc etc...
and though its perfectly normal, but its just odd to see someone so opposite of who i thought they were. (pls don't co-relate this with me)
as they say "diam diam ubi berisi".
ok i realized that wasn't very weird, but i have this niece who's like 9y'old. she's very barbie-girl who thinks she grew up in OC, but actually lives in KL, ya know what i mean?
love her coz actually she's proud 2 be a KL-ean, but sometimes she freaks me out with the stuff she says.
since kindergarden she's had this enemy, C. and recently my niece was 'dating this guy' who she says is 'ugly and dumb'. very curious as to why she would do something like date someone who's ugly coz she worries bout looks a lot you know?
so i asked, then i found out she stole C's bf.
i seriously don't know what's going on with their lives.
but they are freaking me out. they are growing up too much at too fast of a speed!
she's NINE. omg NINE!
it couldn't have been pure creative story telling on her part, right? then again, with Mtv, OC, OneTreeHill and the works, it gives me something to ponder about...
" Diam-diam ubi berisi, diam-diam besi berkarat "

Bittersweet
It starts and ends in a cycle of turmoil,
A game of charades for you to question,
A game of charades for me to act out.
It is part of a tree,
That grew flawless till all ends.
It is part of the mighty oak tree,
With bitten dead leaves hanging.
It is happiness bottled with vinegar,
It is laughter pickled to bloody tears,
Waiting on ends for it to reform,
It is bitter and sweet at its bestest of form.
Here is your thirst quencher you ordered,
With a layer of melted ice.
Here is your sweet angel ornament you paid,
With a broken smile.
Here is the desperation of give and take of the whole wide world,
Let it burn through the epicenter of you.
Here is everything there is,
Let it flow and let it corrode your solid posture.
I,
Am the bittersweet truth disguised,
I,
Am the thorn layered between nail and skin,
I,
Am the darkest of unlighted tunnels,
And yet,
I fear the dark,
And I,
Feel the same too.

Michael Jacko
there's a thing about remaking songs. redoing. rereleasing. remixing ol school stuff.
and some times not so old school, like the what-were-they-thinking westlife covers of songs.
some aren't so bad. worth listening. and if given the chance by an uncle, he would say the new generation just has no creativity or originality or even taste in making good songs. thats why they start redoing songs, and mostly don't do justice to em'. he just thinks there's nothing worth listening on the radio anymore.
some would agree. sometimes i would.
the world of music has changed, but the essence remains the same. the good must be cherished. hence the covers.
(and just for the record, were not a wasted music generation. )
now back to covering songs. there seems to be something bout michael jackson's songs playing on the airways, radio airways that is, quite frequently in recent years. albeit, not really him.
there was alient ant farm. which was good. a spunk to the cobwebbed record.
then chris cornell. which IS absolutely awesome. the man is a killer with billie jean. david cook of AI was inspired by him i would say. he nailed billie jean.
only blunt thing is, he didnt write it himself.
then now there's fall out boy screaming out loud with beat it. nothing really fantastic to be shouting about, but its music to the ears still.
though the greener side of it all, no longer have to be a closet michael jackson fan. we're getting his music without the peado status.
done deal i'd say.

Boycott!
We're The New Face Of Failure,
Prettier and Younger,
But Not Any Better Off,
Only Proof Of Loneliness,
At Best.
Fall Out Boy- I'm Like A Lawyer With The Way..
since our lives here in the kandang is restricted to limited freedom, if any at all, there are very little things to look forward to, which are big to us, but miniscule to you all out there.
.like every thurs night/ fri early morning, due to the convenience of McD's 24hour delivery service, we have a McD fiesta. regardless of what time, or how broke, we would find time, and scavenge or just starve a few days to have our fiesta. its become a ritual i tell you.
.
just shout out the magic word "MC-DEEESSS!!!", and a list of orders would come rolling soon after. its tragically contagious.
.
and i have this utmost high of highest obsession with McD's banana pie, very much the contrary with the apple pie, coz i ain't a fan of cinnamon, which is just not nice. but the banana pie! its gooey and bananaish and damn salivating.
.
at least to my opinion.
.
so usually i'd order my meal, and end it with a mouth cleaner of two banana pies.
but today morning, those friggin fellas sent me two pies, in the banana pie wrapper, but were in fact apple pie!
.
but u know, i thought i'd be very civic minded and since i'm like the good-est citizen, had in mind of calling them to inform them that maybe their wrappers were wrong so that they don't get screwing from other ppl who orders banana pies but gets tricked in having apple pies instead in their possesion.
.
i called their delivery line. i called the kb McD line. i called their hotline for complaints. but all didnt pick up my calls. the audacity innit?!
.
so hence my solution. i shall boycott McD's.
.
.
all together, for the good-will, for the GREATER GOOD, let's boycott McD's.
.
.
.
for one week. till the next ritual begins...
.
